Deniz spent close to 15 years abroad, ten of them in the United States, in senior M&A, strategy and finance roles with multinational companies, before returning to Istanbul to found Orion. At AIG in New York she worked in corporate finance on five major divestitures.

In more than 20 years in the industry she has led numerous cross-border transactions of different sizes to completion. She served on the board of Globalscope Partners from 2021 to 2025. She is a graduate of Üsküdar American Academy, holds a degree in textile engineering from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Cem has more than 20 years of experience in founding, managing, scaling and selling companies. Before Orion he was a partner at Ottoman Partners, an M&A advisory firm with offices in San Francisco, Madrid and Istanbul.

He is also a serial entrepreneur and investor in technology and food: a founder of Habit Sağlıklı Yiyecekler and of Pizza House and Coffee Corner. He is a graduate of Middle East Technical University.
